HOW DO WE AS A CONSULTANCY DIFFER FROM A CLASSIC TRAVEL AGENCY?

  • A traditional travel agency provides a product, we provide an experience, advice and knowledge
  • A consultant prefers boutique and celebrates local. All-inclusive resorts or hotel chains lacking personality don’t register in our minds
  • We won’t recommend places based on who gives us the best commission
  • A traditional travel agency’s fee is hidden within the price you pay for the package, we quote our consultancy fee before we start work
  • A traditional agency’s team sits 9-5 in an office with little time to explore, we encourage our consultants to live and breathe a food and travel oriented lifestyle

Think local, eat local is a priority for us.

Not only does this strategy keep local traditions alive for the future, but it also puts money back into the community and helps the people that really need it.

We organise fabulous master classes on ‘cuisines du terroir’ by locals that reveal how locals eat and drink, but also how to prepare their delicacies, as well as give you an understanding on how that food or drink helped shape the personality of the destination.

We’ll connect you with local chefs, hotels and restaurants, and particularly those with a focus on cuisine du terroir and sustainable farming.

Our Happy Clients

Sophie and her team curated everything and thought through every detail. She allowed us to be guests when we were hosting our ten friends which was truly priceless. We had a private cheese ( tomme) class where not only did we create our own wheel but enjoyed a tour of the shop’s artisanal cheese production. We learned and made chocolate in our chalet with a very patient and knowledgeable chocolate maker. She came fully equipped with everything we needed to be successful and have fun. Thanks to Sophie, our week was seamless, memorable, so much fun and completely stress free for us.

Sophie organised for my wife and I to go to the White Truffle Festival in Alba, North Italy for our anniversary, this was also coupled with several wine tasting experiences around Piedmont, the foot of the Alps. What a unique experience all around! We learned an enormous amount about the North of Italy, the intricacies of wine making and truffle hunting more could you want? Fabulous wine, delicious food and a – what great hotel. Would recommend it to any foodie.
